Angela Castaneda, a member of Gamma Chapter, was pictured in the March NJEA Review. The East Windsor Education Association is proud to have joined RISE, a community service partnership, at that organization’s holiday party. Dr. Judy Merz, a longtime leader and involved member, has been appointed by President Carolyn Pittman to be the interim ED from June 1 to December 31, 2017. Merz will continue as editor of the Delta Kappa Gamma Bulletin, a position she has filled since 2010. Since 2015 she has been communications and marketing consultant to DKG. Judy is a member of Alpha Chapter and a past state president. Read more > Marie Blistan, a high school special education resource center teacher in Washington Township public schools, is the vice president of the New Jersey Education Association. Marie is a member of Iota Chapter. She previously served as NJEA’s secretary-treasurer (2009-2013). She was re-elected to a second two-year term as vice president effective Sept. 1, 2015.
