The state’s Dedicated Service Award may be given biennially, in even-numbered years, to a member in Alpha Zeta State in recognition of distinguished service to the Society.
The Dedicated Service Award was established in 1988 to recognize a member of at least 10 years who had given extraordinary service to the Society on the state and chapter level. Those members who are serving or have served as state president are ineligible because they are recognized on the State President’s plaque. Each chapter president or her designee is eligible to nominate one individual—not necessarily a member of the chapter—whom she believes is deserving of this award. After much deliberation the committee makes a selection, which is revealed at the Alpha Zeta State convention banquet. Deadline: November 10, 2023
