Jameelah has completed all the coursework for her PhD, and she is now working on her dissertation.

She has also been presented with the Teacher of the Year award at the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NJAEYC) Champions of Early Education ceremony on October 20th. Here is a picture of Jameelah with her former pre-k teacher from when she attended Head Start as a child!
