Congratulations, Rachel Kaczor!

The Margaret Abel Scholarship was awarded to Rachel Kaczor, a graduate student at Montclair State University, at the DKGNJ convention in April. Rachel was among a group of 15 candidates, and is pursuing her master’s degree in music education. In accepting the award, she spoke of the importance of all students having equal access to quality music education. She teaches private  voice and piano lessons, volunteers with community theatre productions, is the music director of her church, and substitutes in various school districts. Rachel will truly be an asset in any future educational environment.
