On Friday, May 3, 2024 Lambda Chapter Celebrated Our Fourth Early Educator Award Recipient!5/6/2024
The EEA was founded by Dr. Marilyn Gonyo who set the guidelines to help a female graduating senior to embark on a career in education, especially those most in need of financial assistance, in order to defray the costs of the state testing and certification. The annual award continues under the leadership of Kimberly Falcone. This award and mentorship directly enacts the DKG Society International policy and vision to Support Early Educators (SEE).
Members of Lambda Chapter met on the campus of Georgian Court University at a luncheon to honor graduating senior Lauran Schwerthoffer and to meet with her family. The photograph includes Wilhelmina Bryant, DKGNJ State First Vice President Cathy Fortunato, EEA recipient Lauren Schwerthoffer, Lambda Chapter EEA Chairperson Kimberly Falcone, DKGNJ State President Irene Maskaly, Dr. Marilyn Gonyo, and Noreen McHale. Congratulations Lauren and welcome to the profession as a new educator! Comments are closed.
