Dr. Beverly Hall-Maughan, 2024-2026 International President
Dr. Beverly Hall-Maughan is a retired high school principal and registered nurse whose career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to education and professional excellence. She began her professional journey as a surgical technology instructor, preparing aspiring healthcare professionals with the practical skills and knowledge required for success in the operating room. Hall-Maughan is a passionate advocate of lifelong learning, a value demonstrated by her academic achievements, which include an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Since joining Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) in 2002, Hall-Maughan has held numerous leadership roles, including Tennessee State President, First Vice President, and Recording Secretary. As a DKGIEF luminary, she actively advances the Foundation’s mission to Educate the World. Her service as International Chair of Finance and International Second Vice President further underscores her dedication to fostering educational excellence and organizational sustainability.
In recognition of her contributions to DKG, Hall-Maughan received the International Achievement Award in 2024. Today, as International President, she continues to lead with passion and vision, inspiring educators worldwide to embark on their own journeys of lifelong learning and leadership.
She resides in Florence, Alabama, with her husband, Steve, and their cherished cats. Together, Beverly and Steve delight in traveling the world, scuba diving, and ballroom dancing - fully embracing adventure both above and below the surface.
