From: U.S.Forum Steering Committee
Date: 1-16-26 Subject: Meeting to consider and vote on proposed resolutions for advocacy Last summer at International Conference, the U.S. Forum amended its Guidelines to allow states, chapters or individual members to submit resolutions, the adoption of which would form the basis of Forum advocacy activities. The amendments also allowed for virtual meetings to consider and vote on said proposed resolutions. On Feb. 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM CST, the Forum will hold its first General Membership meeting via zoom. ALL DKG members residing in the US and Puerto Rico are eligible to attend and to vote. A simple majority of those in attendance is required to adopt a resolution. To attend, members must register for the meeting. Registrants will receive the zoom link, copies of the proposed resolutions and directions for voting. Attached is a flyer describing this event with the registration link. As a person who has expressed interest in Forum activities and advocacy issues, I hope you will be able to attend the meeting. Please share this with other members from your chapter and state. Thank you, Pat -- Pat Bennett-Forman, Past President 2023-2025, Washington State Organization, U.S. Forum Steering Committee Chair 2024-2026, The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Comments are closed.
