Impact Spotlight- Submit your Chapter or State Organization's project or program to the EEC to potentially be featured here on the DKG International Website's chapter project database! Inspire other members/chapters to create projects just like yours within their own organization, and make an impact within their communities and chapters. Once you have filled out the form with your information and project/program info, submit it by email to the Educational Excellence Impact Spotlight. Leadership Discovery Centre- Looking to submit some type of leadership media to be featured? View the Rubric and steps under Open Applications on the international website. A. DKG Leadership Resources: Publications, PowerPoints, Tools, Videos, SOLT Leadership Resources, Views from Around the World. B. External Leadership Resources: Resources DKG Recommends for Expanding Leadership Skills. 1) Complete your electronic cover sheet 2) Submit your manuscript to [email protected] Open all year. Membership Spotlight- DKG highlights women, who are doing impactful things in their school, their community or around the world. Member Spotlight gives members the opportunity to nominate a woman who they believe is worthy of this recognition. Application information along with several archived Member Spotlights. Open all year. Educators Book Award- DKG honors a women author whose book is impactful for educators or for readers who consider education vital for our future. Thought provoking ideas, new concepts, and an appealing style are all considered when choosing the Educators Book Award. Quotes That Inspire Us- Have a favorite quote that pushes you to be the best version of yourself? We believe in inspiration through shared wisdom. Submit your favoritequote/mantra/motivational saying for publication on DKG social media to encourage & empower your fellow DKG members. Open all year. Visionary Networks- Any member may join professional interest groups on Zoom, usually meeting monthly/session. You may also apply and lead a session within your expertise. Group Types: Personal Enrichment such as Roses of Hope- a breast cancer survivor support group, photography, Zentangles, family caregivers, and wellness. Professional Development such as Helpful hints being an Executive Secretary/Editor, building resilience, and AI for education. Society Business such as Exploring Visionary SEE (Supporting Early Educators). Registration is required to join a session. Scholarship Recipients- DKG awards thousands of dollars to members earning graduate or doctoral degrees. Recipients of these valuable scholarships followed the application process detailed on the DKG website. Students earning a Master’s Degree may be awarded $6,000 and students earning their PhD may be awarded $10,000. Since 1940, 5.6 million dollars have been awarded to over 1,100 members. Karen Evans, Scholarship Committee Chair, on behalf of the Scholarship Committee, announced that eleven members were selected as scholarship recipients for the 2025 – 2026 academic year. $98,000 in awards were awarded; eight awards to doctoral degree candidates, and three awards to master/post-grad studies students. Due by February 1, 2026, awarded annually. World Fellowship- List of recipients divided and given to each chapter president by our State World Fellowship Chair, Gail Starr (Omicron Chapter) Personal greetings from DKGNJ members encouraged. Keep contact information of the recipients private and secure. DKG Ignite Application (LMS)- Selected applicants will receive a grant covering the full cost of seminar participation, valued at approximately $8,000. This includes round-trip transportation, university accommodations, meals during the seminar, and full tuition for the training program. Opens July 1 every other year (odd years) Girl Scout Project-

Bulletin Journal Deadline(s): March 1 (annually) May 15 (annually) October 1 (annually) 100 Impactful Years: EEC Centennial Challenge- As DKG turns 100 years old we want to highlight 100 ways DKG assists educators. Please complete our brief survey so that we can highlight all DKG does to support educators. The DKG International Educational Excellence Committee invites all chapters to join our Centennial Challenge. Our founders set forth to create an honor society for women educators. We are guided by our founding purposes to unite and honor women educators and to advance the professional interest and position of women in education. Our schools and the educators who work there face numerous challenges as DKG turns 100 years old. We in DKG stand ready to help educators navigate these difficult times. DKG Submissions with Deadlines: 2026 Convention Presenter Submission Form- Complete the electronic submission form. Your answers will be recorded in the form, and a copy will be emailed to you. Questions regarding the submission process can be emailed to [email protected]. Deadline is January 5, 2026. DKG International Educators Foundation - DKGIEF Educational Project Award May be applied for to support and encourage projects. Any project leader may apply. Applicants do not need to be members of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. The deadline is March 1, 2026 Greetings, Attached, please find the summation notes from the December 2025 edition of Inside International, which provided an overview of the proposed preliminary draft of the bylaws. The Preliminary Draft, accompanying PowerPoint presentation, and the link for submitting suggestions and comments are available on the DKG website under Events, International Convention, Colorado. Members are encouraged to review these materials and share their feedback with the Revision Task Force, which will use input to develop the final draft. The final draft will be presented for consideration and voting at the 2026 International Convention. Thank you for your thoughtful input as we continue this important process.
